OOPS has it really been that long

Oh dear it really has been along time since I posted anything on here.

Sorry!

Thought I might get back on as We, that's Clare, Sue & Pete and me are on holiday. And guess where?

It's the Lakes again : )

So it kind of continues on from the last post but just over a year later.

So here goe's with some pic's from our first proper day...

This is Ennerdale Water, on the western edge of the Lake District national park. A 7 mile walk round the lake on a cold but brisk beautiful day.

The Lakes 2009

Our 'Little' cottage, Country Seat.

Approaching the tiny village (Ulldale) we stayed during a downpour.

Looking north across Grasmere with Helm Cragg and Steel Fell in the background.

Grasmere, has got very tasty & famous Gingerbread

Loughrigg Cave above Rydal Water, where William Wordsworth lived.

A beck coming from Scafell

Burnmoor Tarn, at the base of Scafell, Englands tallest mountain. We didn't climb it this time, but will one day :)
(I most say this blog thing is a complete nightmare at times trying to get pics & text in the right place e.t.c.) VERY!!!! Frustrating
